Founders

Lisa Truong is the mother of two young children. A survivor of the dot-com boom and bust, she has seen firsthand the power of the internet to connect, inform, and inspire. Her tenure as an operations manager for a philanthropic organization dedicated to social change inspired her to think big about small actions.  She is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley.

Rachel Fudge is a freelance editor and writer, and mother of a two-year-old girl. She spent eight years in the trenches of nonprofit media as an editor and board member of the magazine Bitch: Feminist Response to Pop Culture, and is a lifelong advocate for improving opportunities for women and girls. She is a graduate of Princeton University.

Contributors

Sarah Gibbs has worked for 15 years as a global Clinical Trials Project Manager, but now spends most of her time helping mamas and babies out. The economic crisis meant she lost a great job, but also meant an opening for a fantastic new perspective and cool and meaningful use of her time.  So until someone comes along with a paycheck, she’s going to keep wrangling diapers for HAMO. She is a graduate of San Jose State University.

Kim Tracy Prince is a reality television producer and writer in Los Angeles, and a mother of two young boys.  She has been blogging since 2004, and believes that social media has the power to make a difference in children’s lives.  She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
